The IPFW women’s four-game winning streak came to a halt in an 80-67 road loss to Evansville on Wednesday.
The Mastodons’ Amanda Hyde got her second career double-double and first of the season with a game-high 32 points and 10 rebounds. She had a game-high six assists.
Haley Seibert added eight points for the IPFW (4-5), and Stefanie Mauk had five points and seven rebounds in her first game back after missing the previous four.
Evansville (4-4) led 32-24 at halftime and started the second half with an 11-4 run.
SAINT FRANCIS 84, TAYLOR 71: Skylarr Shurn led the visiting Cougars (11-0, 2-0 Crossroads) with 34 points, and Akyah Taylor had 23.
INDIANA TECH 85, CONCORDIA 79: In Ann Arbor, Mich., Rachael Kruse had 24 points for the Warriors (7-4, 4-1 WHAC), and Chelsea Carradine had 18 points and 12 rebounds.
HUNTINGTON 72, SPRING ARBOR 49: Amelia Recker had 23 points to lead the host Foresters (7-3, 2-0 Crossroads).
MANCHESTER 61, DEFIANCE 40: Erynn Meiklejohn and Katie Arterburn each scored 14 points to lead visiting Spartans (2-3, 1-0 HCAC).
INDIANA 71, VIRGINIA TECH 65: In Bloomington, Larryn Brooks scored 37 points, and Alexis Gassion added 10 to lead the Hoosiers (8-0).
VALPARAISO 69, BALL STATE 50: In Muncie, LaVonte Dority scored 16 points to lead the Crusaders (6-4). Mark Alstork scored 11 for the Cardinals (6-4).
IUPUI 72, BRADLEY 66: In Peoria, Ill., Ian Chiles and Khufu Najee combined to score 39 points to lead the Jaguars (2-7).
MURRAY STATE 65, EVANSVILLE 63: In Murray, Ky., D.J. Balentine scored 19 of his 25 points after halftime but it wasn’t enough Evansville (5-3).
INDIANA TECH 54, CONCORDIA 52: In Ann Arbor, Mich., Jeremy Wohltman scored 23 points, and Parker Stouffer had 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Warriors (7-4, 4-1 WHAC).
DEFIANCE 67, MANCHESTER 48: The host Spartans couldn’t overcome a 35-14 halftime deficit, even though Manchester (1-5) outscored Defiance (4-0) 34-32 in the second half.
