Mad Ants release Terrance Henry

The Mad Ants have released Terrance Henry, who was averaging 5.0 points per game for Fort Wayne (1-3), which plays host to Iowa on Thursday night at Memorial Coliseum.

So what does this mean? We don't know yet.

"This frees up a spot for somebody else going into the weekend," coach Conner Henry said.

It'll likely either be Chris Hunter, who hasn't played since 2011-12 because of injuries to his Achilles tendons, or rookie Titus Robinson, who has yet to make his debut.

There is a lot of excitement around the Mad Ants regarding Hunter; they believe he could be the best big man in the D-League if he can get healthy. If he's activated, look for the team to really limit his minutes at first.
