Woman held on meth charges

FORT WAYNE – Allen County Warrants Division officers were attempting to serve a warrant in a neighborhood north of downtown when they found a meth lab and ingredients for more, police said.

Korin Forrest, of Angola, was arrested Monday in the 500 block of High Street on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of two chemical reagents (precursors) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a statement issued Thursday by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

The sheriff’s department said Forrest was being held on $55,000 bond.

The Allen County Drug Task Force and the Fort Wayne Methamphetamine Suppression Unit were called to assist in the investigation.
