– For the second time in three days, officers attempting to serve arrest warrants discovered methamphetamine labs and ingredients to make meth, police said.

On Wednesday, Allen County Warrants Division officers were attempting to serve a warrant in a neighborhood north of downtown when they found two meth labs, 10.2 grams of finished meth and meth-making ingredients, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department said.

Travis S. Summers, 28, was arrested Wednesday at 515 High St.

He was being held without bail on charges of violating probation, manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine, possession of two chemical precursors and maintaining a common nuisance.

Bloomingdale Elementary is within a few blocks of the High Street address.

On Monday, officers served a warrant at 1623 Cass St. and found chemical precursors to manufacture meth.

Korin Forrest, 30, of Angola, was arrested on charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possession of two chemical precursors and possession of paraphernalia, police said.

She was being held in lieu of $55,000 bail.

The Allen County Drug Task Force and the Fort Wayne Meth Suppression Unit were called to assist in both investigations.
