Woman, brother robbed at gunpoint

Three men, one armed with a shotgun, robbed a woman and her younger brother Thursday at McKinnie Avenue and Hessen Cassel Road.

The woman told police she picked up her brother at Three Fountains Apartments on Hessen Cassel Road so he wouldn’t have to walk home in the cold.

When they parked, a red Oldsmobile Alero pulled up behind them and three men got out of the car, according to a police report.

The woman told police one of the men was carrying a shotgun and told her to give him all of their money.

The woman gave the men an undisclosed amount of money, and the men fled northbound on Hessen Cassel Road, the report said.

No descriptions of the robbers were available.
