4-star recruit signs financial aid agreement with IU

Dominique Booth, a 2014 wide receiver out of Pike High School in Indianapolis, signed a financial aid agreement with Indiana during an official visit this weekend.

Booth, a 6-foot, 205-pound prospect, posted a photo of the papers on his Instagram. The financial aid agreement is not a binding contract like a National Letter of Intent. It is used to guarantee a spot for a player and circumvent usual dead-period rules in recruiting.

While Booth told 247Sports National Recruiting Reporter Steve Wiltfong that he is not committed to IU, the aid agreement allows the coaching staff to contact Booth with no restrictions. That is important, especially since Booth wants to enroll in college mid-year and current NCAA guidelines call for no contact from a coach to a player in the rest of December.

Missouri is still in pursuit of Booth, a former Tennessee commit who is the No. 228 prospect in the nation according to the 247Composite. He is also a top-35 player at his position.
