Elf in the Statehouse

The House Republican communications staff has become adept at pumping out cute videos on behalf of their caucus.

The latest is a play on "Elf on the Shelf" in which Bernie the Elf takes a tour of the Indiana Statehouse.

From riding the security conveyor belt and hanging on the House chandelier to making a snow angel and getting a treat at the snack shack, the Elf is everywhere.

A number of House Republican legislators have cameos, including Rep. Rebecca Kubacki, R-Syracuse, teaching him how to vote and Rep. Mike Speedy, R-Indianapolis, giving him a motorcycle ride.

Bernie also puts the caucus on the "nice" list and House Speaker Brian Bosma wishes Hoosiers a very Merry Christmas.
