Penny Pitch raises $87,000 for Turnstone

The WOWO Penny Pitch Radiothon raised more than $87,000 during its two days, the fundraiser's organizer said tonight.

The event, which benefits Turnstone, will enable building of more than 120 wheelchair ramps for people otherwise unable to afford making their homes wheelchair-accessible, WOWO Penny Pitch Charities said in a statement.
