    A man is in critical condition after a single-car accident at the 6400 block of Lafayette Street south of East Pettit Avenue on Friday night, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Gunmen hold up auto parts store

Two men armed with guns robbed AutoZone at 1310 N. Coliseum Blvd. on Wednesday night, fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two people working at the shop told police the men came in right before closing time, about 10 p.m.

The men, wearing masks and brandishing 9 mm handguns, ordered the workers to the floor and bound their hands behind their backs.

The men took cash from the register, along with an assortment of nickels, dimes and quarters in rolls, police said.
