Komets pick up Peoria forward

The Komets have added rookie forward Garrett Vermeesch to the roster. Vermeesch, 24, is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Komets host Toledo for the annual New Year’s Eve game at the Memorial Coliseum at 7:30pm.

Vermeesch has appeared in 22 games with Peoria of the SPHL this season, leading the Rivermen with 14 goals (ranked 3rd in SPHL) and 27 points (ranked 4th in SPHL).
