Marino, who had eight goals and 18 points in 11 games, was the runner-up to Colorado's Trent Daavettila (7 goals, 21 points in 13 games) for ECHL Player of the Month.

Fleming, who had five goals and 14 points in 11 games, was second to Kalamazoo goalie Jordan Binnington (6-2-0, 1.74 goals-against average) for Rookie of the Month.

The Komets play tonight at Evansville, in the first part of a home-and-home series.
