Wind chill warning is extended

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has extended the wind chill warning for the following counties until 8 p.m. Tuesday:

  • Indiana – Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, Whitley, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, White, Cass, Miami, Grant, Blackford and Jay.
  • Ohio – Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
The winter storm warning has expired.

The weather service said deadly wind chills between 30 below and 40 below zero can be expected through Tuesday morning.
