Noble travel advisory reduced to ‘Watch’

Statement as issued Tuesday Noble County officials:

The Noble County commissioners have allowed the current “Warning” travel advisory will expire at noon today.

A "Watch" travel advisory will then go into effect until midnight.

A "Watch" travel advisory basically means that essential traffic only is recommended. There are still areas in rural Noble County that are impassable or nearly impassable.

We strongly recommend that you avoid travel on the roads in the unincorporated portion of the County until at least after midnight.

Vehicles becoming stuck in snow drifts have severely hampered the County Highway departments ability to open the roads. Extreme low temperatures and the windchill warning put out by the National Weather Service is still in effect.
