Indiana added a recruit to its 2014 class as it awaits a final decision from another prospect.
Derrick Tindal, a cornerback from Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., orally committed to the Hoosiers, according to Peegs.com.
The 5-foot-10, 196-pounder is rated a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and is the 17th member of IU’s recruiting class.
The Hoosiers should find out tonight if they will also add Indianapolis Pike receiver Dominique Booth to their recruiting class. Booth, who signed a financial aid agreement with IU in December, is scheduled to announce his final college choice at 7 p.m. today.
