A North Manchester man is being held without bail after police uncovered what they described as a significant meth manufacturing operation south of Silver Lake in Kosciusko County.

Detectives went to a Warsaw residence Tuesday that resulted in a tip that led them to an address in the 11800 stretch of South Peru Road, according to the Warsaw Police Department.

Officers report seeing marijuana on a table while talking with Jeff D. Gable, 49, of North Manchester, which led to a search warrant. Police said they also found finished meth and items used to make meth.

Gable was charged with dealing/delivering/manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of chemical reagents or precursors to manufacture methamphetamine; and possession of meth paraphernalia, police said.

Warsaw drug tips can be called into the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9540.
