Clark, the Cubs new mascot.

And now, a contest

Clark, the Cubs new mascot, has been roundly panned.

You like games. I like games. And the Blob certainly likes games, because it's so often accused of playing games.

So, here's your game for Tuesday: Who Had The Worse Day?

In this corner, the Detroit Lions, who hired former Colts head coach Jim Caldwell as their new head coach, prompting all Lions' fans who remember Caldwell's beige tenure in Indianapolis to shriek "Nooooooo!!!"

And in this corner, the Chicago Cubs, who unveiled a new mascot -- Clark is his name -- that provoked ridicule (and some crude embellishments) all over the interwebs because Clark looks like, well, a Berenstein Bear who's not wearing pants.

Hence the crude embellishments on Deadspin and elsewhere. This being a family Blob, they will not be posted here, but you can probably guess what they are.

(Clue: Again, he's not wearing pants).

Poor Lions/Cubs. No matter how hard they try, they simply can't get out of their own way.
