Arrangements set for Elkhart grocery shooter, victims

ELKHART, Ind. – Visitation for a woman shot dead at a northern Indiana supermarket will occur at the same funeral home where calling for the gunman will be held hours earlier.

The visitation for 44-year-old Rachelle Godfread of Elkhart will be two hours before the 2 p.m. Tuesday funeral at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Calling for 22-year-old gunman Shawn Walter Bair also will be held there from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday. The South Bend Tribune reports no funeral is planned.

A funeral home spokesman says the families are aware it's handling arrangements for both Bair and Godfread.

Visitation for the other victim, 20-year-old Krystle Dikes, will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Bristol and for one hour before her funeral there at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
