Ice Chips

  • Ouellet back for K's
The Komets will have Dean Ouellet back tonight for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Reading Royals. He missed the last 17 games with a concussion.
  • Priming Game 3
The Reading Royals are the defending champions of the ECHL, and it would be naïve of the Komets to think it would be easy to unseat them.
  • Clarke is K's Mr. Steady
The Komets rely on their veterans to temper the enthusiasm of the highs and get through the frustration of the lows. And no one in the locker room is more even keel than Aaron Clarke, a 31-year-old forward.

Poor ice delays Komets game

The Komets game at Elmira, N.Y., has been delayed because of poor ice conditions. Still not sure when it will begin.Or, if it will begin. But they are warming up so I'm guessing they should begin sometime.
