TV report: Man arrested in Ohio infant’s death

– Police have arrested an Ohio man in the death of a 5-month-old infant.

WTOL television station (http://bit.ly/1gltZNY) in Toledo reported Monday that 29-year-old James Cooper, of Defiance, was arrested on a murder charge in the baby’s death.

The station said Defiance police and emergency workers were dispatched Friday to a home in response to a call that the baby wasn’t breathing. Police say the baby was taken to the Defiance Regional Medical Center and later Toledo Children’s Hospital. The infant died Sunday.

The suspect is to appear in court Wednesday.
