Warrant stop leads to new meth operation, police say

Runyon

A South Bend man wanted on charges connected to a meth lab found on Center Street in Warsaw last fall was back in town on Tuesday, and it did not end well for him.

An arrest of another person early Tuesday led Warsaw narcotics officers to stop the vehicle of 41-year-old Roger Runyon, who had finished meth, spent meth labs and items commonly used to make the illegal drug, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the Warsaw Police Department.

Runyon was arrested on the warrant and for being a habitual traffic offender, the police said, as well as new charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.

He was being held at the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond.
