A 25-year-old man from Fort Wayne was arrested last night on Interstate 69 in Allen County, accused of driving 110 mph in a borrowed car.

Trooper James Bailey reported that he was going north in an unmarked car about 11:15 p.m. near the Coldwater Road exit when a red car whipped past.

Ionday Depree Smith was stopped under the overpass at the Interstate 469 interchange, according to a statement issued by the Fort Wayne Post of the Indiana State Police.

The state police said it was later determined that Smith's driving privileges had been suspended for 10 years.

Smith was charged with reckless driving and a felony charge of habitual traffic violator.
