All Denver so far

Halfway home here at the Gates Center, and IPFW's men haven't yet started.

The Mastodons led 17-10 eight minutes in and then unraveled at both ends, kicking it away eight times and failing to guard the 3-point line, where Denver feasted. Result: Seven 3s in 12 attempts for the Pioneers from the arc, a 12-0 run and a 35-25 lead at the break.

The Mastodons, meanwhile, are 1-of-6 from there and went 6:16 without scoring during the Pioneers run. No one for the Mastodons has more than five points while Bryant Rucker has a dozen with three 3s for the Pioneers.
