IPFW women fell 71-66 on Saturday in Denver in their final Summit League road game.
The Mastodons entered halftime tied at 32 after a back-and-forth first half with six ties and five lead changes.
The second half had three ties and seven lead changes with the Mastodons leading by eight with 5:31 left to play.
The Pioneers took the lead for good with 1:56 left to play and would extend their lead with four free throws to secure the victory.
Haley Seibert scored 20 points to lead IPFW (12-13, 5-6 Summit). Amanda Hyde had 18 points and Rachel Rinehart added 12.
Alison Janecek led Denver (6-19, 4-6) with 21 points.
BOWLING GREEN 66, BALL STATE 64: In Muncie, Spencer Parker scored 22 points, Richaun Holmes had 17 with 11 rebounds and the Falcons (11-14, 5-7 Mid-American Conference) overtook the Cardinals (4-19, 1-11) in the final minute.
Jesse Berry led Ball State with 20 points.
Bowling Green led all the way until Ball State took over at 48-47 with 11 minutes remaining in the second half.
Ball State pulled ahead by as many as five points down the stretch and led 64-61 with a minute to play before Parker made two free throws and Anthony Henderson added a layup and Bowling Green regained the lead 65-64 with 44 seconds remaining. Ball State missed its next two attempts inside and the Falcons added a free throw to pad the victory.
VALPARAISO 77, MILWAUKEE 62: In Milwaukee, LaVonte Dority scored 19 points to lead the hot-shooting Crusaders (16-11, 8-4 Horizon).
The Crusaders (16-11, 8-4 Horizon) shot 51 percent from the floor and made 22 of 27 from the line.
Jordan Coleman added 14 points and gathered 11 rebounds, while Moussa Gueye had four blocked shots.
Kyle Kelm led Milwaukee (16-10, 6-6) with 24 points and Matt Tiby had 14 points and eight boards.
INDIANA STATE 60, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS 57: In Terre Haute, Jake Odum scored 15 points and the Sycamores (20-6, 11-3 Missouri Valley) used an 11-0 run in the second half to overcome a halftime deficit, setting up a close finish as neither team led by more than six points the rest of the way.
Trailing 60-57, Southern Illinois (10-17, 6-8) opted not to foul and got a stop with 16 seconds left. The Salukis missed two potential game-tying 3-pointers, before a timeout was granted with 0.3 remaining. But there was too little time on the clock for the Salukis to get a good look as Indiana State held on.
Khristian Smith added 10 points for the Sycamores.
Desmar Jackson led the Salukis with 19 points. Anthony Beane added 18 points and eight rebounds.
SOUTH DAKOTA 71, IUPUI 67: In Indianapolis, Trevor Gruis scored 18 points and the Coyotes (10-15, 4-6 Summit League) withstood a late rally from the Jaguars (6-22, 1-10).
South Dakota led 64-54 before IUPUI closed the gap with a 13-7 run.
Larson scored 13 for the Coyotes. Tyler Flack had 12 and Trey Norris added 10.
Mitch Patton led the Jaguars with 16 points. Ray added 12 points and Barksdale had 10.
