  • Second victim identified
    Fort Wayne Police have identified the second person shot Sunday in the 600 block of East Rudisill Boulevard as James W. Armstrong from Arizona.
  • Semi rollover stalls traffic on I-469
    A semi that rolled onto its side caused slowdowns in traffic on Interstate 469 on Monday, according to Indiana State Police.There were only minor injuries in the crash.
  • 2 face charges in Kroger thefts
    Allen County prosecutors on Monday formally charged two people accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of liquor and an assortment of household items from Kroger stores during the first seven months of the year.
Solving crime
Crime Stoppers is seeking information to help Fort Wayne police solve an attempted armed robbery that resulted in a shooting. On Feb. 5, two men armed with handguns knocked on the door at 7257 Lakeridge Drive. When the victims opened the door the men barged in demanding cash and shot the male victim, then demanded money from the female victim who had nothing to give the robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
