Amanda Hyde scored 36 points and went 18 of 20 from the free-throw line to lead the IPFW women over IUPUI 78-73 in a Summit League matchup at the Gates Center on Saturday.
The Mastodons and Jaguars had 11 lead changes and six ties before IPFW took the lead for good with 2:41 left to play.
Haley Seibert scored 18 points, and Ariana Simmons added 11 points for the Mastodons (13-13, 6-6 Summit League).
Nevena Markovic had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Jaguars (19-8, 9-3), DeAirra Goss scored 16 and Dawn Luster 10.
INDIANA 79, ILLINOIS 61: In Bloomington, Larryn Brooks had 20 points and nine assists for the Hoosiers (18-9, 5-9 Big Ten).
Alexis Gassion scored 17 points, Simone Deloach had 14 and Taylor Agler 13.
Ivory Crawford scored 11 and Nia Oden added 10 for the Fighting Illini (9-18, 2-12).
MISSOURI STATE 77, INDIANA STATE 66: In Springfield, Mo., Austin Ruder led a balanced offense with 15 points as the Bears (18-10, 8-8 Missouri Valley) used a 13-0 run in the first half to open a 29-14 lead en route to a 37-26 halftime advantage.
Indiana State (21-7, 12-4) cut the deficit to 51-50 in the second half before the Bears responded with an 8-2 run.
Jarmar Gulley added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Bears, reaching double figures for the 14th consecutive game. Ron Mvouika added 12 points while Keith Pickens had 10.
Jake Odum, playing in his school-record 128th career game, led Indiana State with 14 points. Dawon Cummings added 12 points.
VALPARAISO 68, YOUNGSTOWN ST. 66: In Valparaiso, Bobby Capobianco hit the eventual game-winning 3-pointer with less than a minute to play for the Crusaders (17-12, 9-5 Horizon League).
Bobby Hain scored to give Youngstown State a 66-65 lead with 1:16 remaining before Capobianco made his trey with 59 seconds left. Both teams traded turnovers, and Kendrick Perry missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer for YSU with six seconds remaining to seal it for the Crusaders.
Alec Peters made five 3-pointers on his way to 22 points to lead Valparaiso. LaVonte Dority scored 15 points.
Ryan Weber scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting for Youngstown State (15-14, 6-8).
ILLINOIS 61, EVANSVILLE 56: In Evansville, Anthony Beane scored 22 points to lead the Salukis (12-17, 8-8 Missouri Valley).
Southern Illinois got 15 points and eight rebounds from Desmar Jackson, who was 8 of 8 from the line. Bola Olaniyan gathered 11 boards to go along with 8 points.
The Purple Aces (11-18, 4-12) were led by Egidiju Mockevicius with 19 points, on 8-of-10 shooting, and 11 rebounds.
Blake Simmons scored 11 points and made the teams only three 3-pointers.
