Mass. man accused of 3 slayings found incompetent
The Norfolk district attorney's office said Tuesday a judge ruled a day earlier Donald Rudolph is unable to help with his defense. A hearing was held last month on a new evaluation last fall that was requested by prosecutors.
Rudolph is charged with beating and fatally stabbing 24-year-old Caylin Rudolph, 50-year-old Paula Rudolph and 52-year-old Frederick Medina.
The 20-year-old Weymouth resident is held at a state hospital. He was found incompetent for trial in June 2013 after psychiatric evaluation.
Another court hearing is scheduled next week, when another competency review could be scheduled in six months.
