Three Notre Dame women's basketball players earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors Tuesday.
Senior guard Kayla McBride and sophomore guard Jewell Loyd were named to the all-conference first team, and senior forward Natalie Achonwa was named to the second team.
Loyd is averaging career highs of 18.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals as the No. 2 Irish (29-0) enter the ACC tournament.
Notre Dame opens play in the tournament in Friday's quarterfinals against the winner Thursday's game between No. 8-seed Miami (16-13) and No. 9-seed Florida State (19-10).
McBride averages 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
Achonwa, who missed the first three games while recovering from knee surgery, is also averaging career highs with 14.7 points, 2.9 assists and 1.9 blocks. She also averages 7.7 rebounds.
