2 sought in $2,000 razor blade heist

Two women have been stocking up on razor blades.

Albeit illegally, according to police.

The Allen County Sheriff's Department is seeking information about two women who have stolen almost $2,000 worth of razor blades from two Walgreen's stores in southwest Fort Wayne.

On Feb. 25, the pair walked into the Walgreen's at Chestnut Plaza where they placed multiple razor blades into their purses and left.

Later that day, one of the women walked into the Walgreens at Time Corners and stole more razor blades.

The women drove a black four-door car, police said.

They're described as being in their late 20s or early 30s and white with brown hair.

One of the women was wearing blue-green scrubs with a blue-purple flowered shirt. The other was wearing a brown and tan checkered sweatshirt with a yellow undershirt.

Anyone with information about their identities is asked to contact the sheriff's detective working the case at 449-7412.
