Probe finds meth labs, nets 2 arrests in city

A four-month long investigation ended Wednesday in two methamphetamine-related arrests.

The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Methamphetamine Suppression Team, working on its 10th case of the year, found several one-pot meth labs inside a mobile home at 5719 Le Steele Blvd.

The labs were neutralized and the home condemned, according to police.

Boyd Combs, 58, was arrested on a slew of counts, including possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and marijuana possession. He was being held in lieu of $57,500 bail.

Nichole McDonald, 35, was arrested on charges of visiting a common nuisance and marijuana possession. She was released on $3,250 bond.

Police began the investigation after receiving a tip from someone reporting the drug activity.
