Charity basketball at DeKalb

The DeKalb Health Foundation will have its first ever charity basketball event, Hoops for Health, Sunday at DeKalb High School.

It is open to the public and begins at 2 p.m. Admission is $5 for individuals or $20 for families.

Proceeds will benefit the DeKalb Health Foundation.

A team of 10 players from DeKalb Health will take on a team of players from DeKalb, Eastside, Garrett, Hamilton and Lakewood Park.

Those players are scheduled to be: Ryan Abbott, Kim Armstrong, Shane Conwell, Nick David, Orie Foster, Jamie Freeze, Garrett Heator, Chad Hibbard, Laura Hibbard and Wendy Pettis.

There will also be activities for fans.
