Changes on defense

Defenseman Jordon Southorn has been called up to Portland of the American Hockey League. And defenseman Jeremy Gates has been released.

Southorn was returned by Hamilton of the AHL last week. He didn't play a game there.

Southorn had 10 goals and 26 points in 41 games with Fort Wayne. Gates had one goals, six points and 31 penalty minutes in 31 games.
