Saalfrank in net for K's

For reasons unknown at this point, Komets goaltender Ben Meisner sprawled to the ice while play was stopped midway through the second period.

He left the ice with help and now Larkin Saalfrank, who was the emergency goalie, is in net for the Komets.

The Komets trail Orlando 4-3. late in the second and Saalfrank has stopped 2 of 3 shots.

He is a former IPFW goalie who played half a game this season with Danville of the Federal Hockey League. He played in a 2012 exhibition game for the Komets and was in their training camp last fall.

I will try to get an update on Meisner when I can.
