TOLEDO -- The Notre Dame women's basketball team is shooting just 44 percent from the field and facing a difficult test from the ninth-seeded Sun Devils, who have forced a slower tempo.

Natalie Achonwa has 12 points for the Irish and Jewell Loyd has nine. Notre Dame is 11-for-12 at the foul line but 1-of-3 from 3-point range.

Arizona State is 10-of-28 from the field and is led by 12 points from guard Deja Mann.
