Hoosiers receiver out of hospital

Indiana receiver Isaac Griffith was released from a Florida hospital Sunday after spending five full days and parts of two others at the medical facility.

The Fort Wayne native continues to improve and will return home to Indiana soon with his family, spokeswoman Kim Savage said in a statement issued by Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Griffith nearly drowned Monday off the coast of Sarasota, Fla. Doctors expect a full recovery.
