I really think Reading coach Larry Courville made a tactical error with all of the lineup changes. Full disclosure: I don't know the Royals injury situation. But whatever the reason, he sat down some of his best players, particularly Josh Brittain, who spent most of this season in the American Hockey League, and Brandon Blandina, who combined for three goals in the first two games. While the lineup Reading had out there Friday was a good one, and the Royals could have won the game, I also think sometimes coaches out-think themselves. They won the Eastern Conference in the regular season, and I wouldn't have messed with the dynamic too much.

The winner of this series will take on the winner of the Orlando/Cincinnati series, which the Cyclones lead 3-1. Click here to read about that.
