Now we're going to double overtime at Memorial Coliseum. The Komets were the better team in the first overtime, even though they were outshot 10-9, but the Reading Royals had the best scoring chance. It was a 2-on-1 rush and Josh Brittain was stopped by goaltender Ben Meisner. After killing off the major penalty to Mike Embach, the Komets failed to score on two power plays for too many men on the ice.
