Bluffton man in Indiana 3 crash dies

A Bluffton man died Monday in a crash south of Rushville after his car went left of center and struck two other vehicles, according to a statement issued by Indiana State Police.

Jed D. Olvey, 63, was driving north about noon in a 2000 Saturn sedan when the car went into the path of an oncoming semi and SUV just south of Rush County Road 200 South.

The semi’s trailer ran up and over the Saturn, which was then hit by a Ford Expedition.

The SUV driver was treated for a hand injury and the semi driver was not hurt, state police said.

Indiana 3 was closed for four hours after the crash.
