Notre Dame added an eighth player to its 2015 recruiting class.
C.J. Sanders, a 5-foot-10, 163-pound receiver from Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy, announced on his Twitter account Tuesday that he committed to the Irish.
Sanders wrote: “I have officially committed to the University of Notre Dame & I thank God for this opportunity. #GoIrish.”
Sanders is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, and he is also known for playing Ray Charles as a child in the movie “Ray.” He will transfer to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., for his senior year, according to Irish Illustrated.
