Indiana launches new website, focuses on access

– Indiana technology officials are touting the release of the state’s new website.

The Indiana Office of Technology announced Wednesday that the new site will focus on mobile users and allowing visitors to personalize their experience.

The site was also redesigned to make it easier to find state agencies and allow prominent access to the state’s transparency portal. The state is also unveiling an iOS app for the state site.

The site was developed by the Office of Technology, the company Indiana Interactive and Ball State University’s Emerging Technology unit. The website typically has 3.8 million unique visitors per month, and roughly 40 percent of visitors are on mobile devices.
