Northrop Grumman set to sign lease with Grand Sky
In a statement, Hoeven says Grand Sky will make Grand Forks a leading center for the development and operations of unmanned aerial systems.
Hoeven says he also expects an Enhanced Use Lease between Air Force officials and Grand Forks County to be signed in June to establish Grand Sky on Grand Forks Air Base. Grand Sky will occupy 217 acres of the base.
Last December, the FAA selected Grand Forks as one of six unmanned aerial systems test sites in the nation.
