Bishop Luers grad honored as KSP Post 5 Trooper of the Year

The following statement was issued Friday by Kentucky State Police Post 5:

Two Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg were honored Wednesday at the KSP Awards Banquet held in Frankfort. Tpr. Mitchel Hazelett, a 3 ½ year KSP veteran, was honored as the Post 5 Trooper of the Year. Tpr. Hazelett is originally from Fort Wayne, IN. He is the son of Kirk and Donna Hazelett of Roanoke, IN. Tpr. Hazelett is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Luers High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of the Pacific.

Det. Tim Moore, a six year KSP veteran, was honored as the Post 5 Detective of the Year. Tpr. Moore is originally from Lima, OH. He currently resides in Henry County with his family.
