Road closures

The 2014 Fort4Fitness Spring Cycle Tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for all tour events at 300 E. Main St. There are three tour distance, 18 miles, 33 miles and 43 miles. The event will require some road closures.

•Main Street will be closed between Barr and Clinton streets from 6 p.m. today to 4 p.m. Saturday

•Main Street will be closed between Barr Street and Lafayette streets from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

•Barr Street will be restricted to parking garage access between Berry and Main streets from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

•Superior Street will be closed between Clinton and Lafayette streets from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

•Barr Street will be closed from Superior Street to Headwaters Park from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday

All other roads along the three tour courses will be open to traffic, and rules of the road apply as on any typical riding day.

Police officers will be stationed at major intersections controlling traffic, and cyclists should be prepared to stop and obey all traffic and road signs and stay right of center.

Roving bike ambassadors and support/aid/gear vehicles will be provided along the course. Amateur Emergency Radio Services operators will be stationed along the course and will have a direct communication link to command and control if someone needs radio assistance.

Helmets are required.
