The Natl Weather Service in N. IN has issued a * severe thunderstorm warning for Allen County in N.E. IN., S. DeKalb County, Southeastern Noble County and Eastern Whitley County * until 145 am EDT.

* At 1:04 a.m. EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Avilla to Churubusco to 7 miles South of Columbia City & moving east at 45 mph.

Hazard 60 mph wind gusts & nickel size hail.

Source radar indicated.

Impact: expect damage to roofs, siding & trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near Huntertown & Garrett around 1:15 a.m. EDT, Auburn around 1:20 a.m. EDT, Grabill & Fort Wayne around 1:25 a.m. EDT, New Haven around 1:30 a.m. EDT and Woodburn around 1:40 a.m. EDT.

Other locations in the warning include:

Rolling Hills, Arcola, Butler Center, Altona, Laotto, Wallen, Saint Johns, Leo-Cedarville, Harlan & Cuba.

Precautionary/preparedness actions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
