Notre Dame will make excess stadium grass available

Notre Dame will sell excess inventory of two-foot-by-five-foot sections of grass from the football stadium for $100 from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday.

The university is replacing the natural grass with FieldTurf, and sections of the grass have been available $149.95 at www.und.com/grass. The online sale ends at noon Wednesday.

The leftover grass can be purchased at Gate B in the southeast corner of the Notre Dame Stadium.
