Members sought for leadership class

Leadership Fort Wayne Inc. is seeking members for its adult class of 2015, a nine-month program from September to May that brings together leaders in business, government and nonprofits.

LFW is designed to help leaders “drive positive change through leadership and civic engagement.”

Applications will be accepted through June 30 and are available at All applicants must include a letter of recommendation, preferably from a Leadership Fort Wayne alumnus.

Participants get a behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of the community, including the arts and quality of life, government and economic development.

The program includes panel discussions, a class project and opportunity to serve a one-year internship on the board of a nonprofit organization.

Space in the class of 2015 is limited to about 40 participants.
