West State section to close for water work

West State Boulevard is to close between Lakeview and Wood Valley drives overnight, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

The closure between 11 p.m. tonight and 5 a.m. Friday is to reinstall a water service in the 2400 block of West State, the city's traffic engineering department said in a statement.

A detour will use Lindenwood Avenue, Spring Street and Tyler Avenue, the statement said.
