2-year-old falls from apartment balcony

WARSAW – Police say a 2-year-old child was badly hurt after falling from a second-story balcony at a northeast Indiana apartment complex.

Warsaw police Lt. Kip Shuter said the child apparently climbed up on a chair near the railing and somehow went over the edge Monday evening. Shuter told WSJV-TV (http://bit.ly/T47Glu) that the child was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
