Woman held on drug-dealing charges

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Michigan woman on drug-dealing charges Thursday.

Kaila T. Griffith, 41, of Union City, was arrested about 11:20 a.m. on two separate warrants on charges of dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance and for dealing in a Schedule IV controlled substance, according to a statement issued by the sheriff’s office.

It said the arrest was part of an IMAGE Drug Task Force, DEA and sheriff’s office investigation that started about June 1.

Griffith was being held on a $50,000 cash bond for the Schedule II charge and $25,000 cash bond for the Schedule IV charge.
