Ivy Tech given software to assess damage

The Collision Repair Education Foundation donated more than $125,000 in collision-estimating software to Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast for students’ use.

The software – from Audatex and the Certified Collateral Corp. – teaches students to complete damage analysis and write estimates for motor vehicle repair, according to a statement from Ivy Tech.

The software comes with a one-year subscription and is kept accessible by monthly renewals, according to the release.

“The software provides the skills employers need from our students,” assistant instructor Jaron Grayless said in the statement.
