Thunderstorms could produce high winds

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are likely to have thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

It said a few of the storms could become severe, with isolated damaging winds. As of 5 a.m. Tuesday, the worst of the storm was expected to occur primarily along and east of a line roughly between Monticello, Indiana, and Coldwater, Michigan.

Some areas might also get heavy rain and local flooding.
